Rhifau o Gwmpas Ni - "Sut ydyn ni'n defnyddio rhifau i archwilio ein hardal leol?"

Bydd y dysgwyr yn archwilio sut mae rhifau’n cael eu defnyddio yn eu cymuned leol o ddydd i ddydd. Byddant yn ymchwilio i rifau tai, amserlenni bysiau, prisiau mewn siopau, a phellteroedd. Mae’r ymholiad hwn yn datblygu eu dealltwriaeth o rifau, mesur, a thrin data mewn cyd-destunau go iawn. Mae hefyd yn annog chwilfrydedd a sgiliau arsylwi wrth iddynt sylwi bod mathemateg ym mhobman

Our line of enquiry this term is:

Numbers Around Us - "How do we use numbers to explore our local area?"

Students will explore how numbers are used in everyday life within their local community. They’ll investigate things like house numbers, bus timetables, shop prices, and distances. This enquiry helps develop their understanding of number, measurement, and data handling in real-life contexts. It also encourages curiosity and observation skills as they begin to see how maths is all around them.
